With our Ash Wednesday worship service––online at 7:30pm on Wednesday, 2/17––we begin another major season in the liturgical calendar of the church––Lent! During this solemn, 40 day period before Easter, we follow Jesus to the cross, in order to discover more of what it means to belong together to the crucified and risen One. It is also a season of reflection upon our deep need for the great salvation that Christ has purchased for us; in addition, we'll particularly focus this year upon the sad realities of racial injustice in our country.
