At Liberti, we love families and children.
More importantly, Jesus loves children, and we want families to experience the grace of Jesus together. For our in-person worship, children over the age of 2 are encouraged to practice the rhythms of liturgy and praise right along with their parents. During the sermon, our friends over 2.5 are invited to partake in Liberti Kids 2, 3 and 4 in order to teach them the gospel in an age-appropriate fashion. Infants aged 6 months to 2.5 years old are invited to spend the entirety of our service in our Liberti Kids 1 childcare room. Newborns to 6 months are welcome to snuggle for the duration of the service in the dedicated pews at the rear of our sanctuary. All of our children’s volunteers are friendly, trained, background-checked, and eager to serve.
Fall & Winter at Liberti Kids
Sunday, September 12, 2021 begins our Fall & Winter Semester at Liberti Kids! Our Children's Ministry wide focus will be "Why Am I Here?" and we pray that each week students can grapple with the big ideas of the creation of the world, humanity's purpose here on Earth, and how Christ changes all of that both historically and in the present. Teachers will use the DWELL curriculum that is age and intellect appropriate for each group.
Liberti Kids 1 for children 6 months to 2.5 years old will continue to gather from the beginning through the end of the service. Due to current state recommendations and our desire to keep your child safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this offering will be limited to 8 students each week.
Liberti Kids 2 for students 2.5 years old through Pre-K will study the books of Genesis and Exodus with the Dwell curriculum "Play". They will study creation, the Fall, Abraham & Sarah, Joseph, Moses, Joshua and then transition to a church wide Advent study beginning, Sunday, 11/28. Due to current state recommendations and our desire to keep your child safe during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this offering will be limited to 7 students each week.
Liberti Kids 3 for students in Kindergarten through Second grade will also focus on the books of Genesis and Exodus with the Dwell curriculum "Wonder". These students will engage with Creation, Sin, Cain & Abel, Noah, The Tower of Babel, Abraham, Issac, Jacob and then join in the Advent study.
Liberti Kids 4 for big kids in Third to Fifth grade will dive into the "Marvel" curriculum in Dwell that magnifies the parables of Christ and allows students to unpack the mysteries of the gospel that Christ presented in these simple and life changing stories. They will also join in with the Advent study on Sunday, 11/28.
Liberti Kids 3 & 4 will continue to meet in the courtyard at the front of Holy Trinity for the Fall. Students will be invited inside if the weather is inclement or the temperature dips below 45 degrees. When students are inside Liberti Kids 3 will meet in the fellowship hall and Liberti Kids 4 will be in the conference room when you head up the stairs at the front of the sanctuary.
